FAQs

  • I need a last minute booking

I will do my best to cover any last minute appointment with 48 working hours notice. If you urgently need an appointment with less than 48 working hours notice still get in touch as I will do everything I can to cover it for you myself, or by one of my highly recommended industry colleagues.

  • How long will my makeup last

With the products I use and the information from the trial, your makeup application and hair style is set to last throughout the entire day.

Choosing airbrush makeup gives a safer guarantee the makeup will stay way into the night so you can feel confident hitting the dancefloor!

  • How far in advance should I book my trial

This is totally up to you, it’s usually best to have your trial once you have chosen your dress and theme for the wedding. I have brides that want it early on so they have the peace of mind that it’s one less thing to worry about but I also have brides who have it quite close to the big day. I don’t mind, I leave this totally up to you!

  • What happens on a trial

The point of a trial is to discuss the look you want for your event. Any ideas or pictures you have are helpful and we can work through them together. Trials always take a lot longer than the actual day, this is down to product testing on your skin, what suits you best, for you to be checking the look as it’s done and maybe a few changes until we have your final look.

I take photographs of the makeup/hair final look and keep it on file along with the products used.

I will then contact you the next day and see how your makeup/hair lasted and check if there are any changes you would like to make for the day.

  • I have a dark or light skin tone

This is not a problem at all, let me know prior to your trial. My kit ranges from the lightest to the darkest. I know the high street colour ranges are not very wide but don’t worry, I will have your colour!

  • I have sensitive skin

I have an extensive kit to cater for all skin types. If there are particular products you are allergic to these brands are usually commonly known by makeup artists but be sure to let me know prior to your trial.
